Born and raised in Mendocino, Jessa grew up climbing the town’s iconic water towers, exploring secret swimming holes and attending community events. Moving away to attend college, Jessa completed a B.A. in Cultural Anthropology from Humboldt State University in 2009. She bopped around the state living in Southern California, Oakland and Mount Shasta before returning to Mendocino as a home base for travel and eventually started a family of her own; welcoming son Arlo with her partner Jake in 2017. Jessa has worked as a middle school teacher, medical assistant, service industry professional and owns Mendocino Candle Company, a small business making and selling all natural homemade soy wax candles.
An interest in real estate was a natural evolution in Jessa’s life as she’d watched her parents (designer/builder father and creator/thrift store decorator mother) develop a number of properties over the years and essentially raise her in series of construction zones. She has always loved seeing different types of homes and takes great joy in organizing her own and creating a vision of potential for others. She brings authenticity, dedication and enthusiasm to her position as a Realtor and works equally well with buyers and sellers to achieve their property ownership goals.
